Nature: Effectiveness of Telehealth Versus In-Person Care During the COVID-19 Pandemic

A review of clinical evidence shows that telehealth is comparable to in-person care across various outcomes and clinical areas. Researchers from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health observed that the differences between telehealth and in-person care with regard to healthcare utilization and clinical outcomes were generally small and not clinically meaningful.
