Elevance Health: Virtual Health Care is Convenient, Accessible, and Recommended by Friends and Family

A survey commissioned by Elevance Health found that virtual care is seen as convenient and accessible, especially for those unable to visit a doctor in person for many reasons including lack of transportation or childcare, working several jobs, or a disability. The survey found that virtual healthcare has made interactions with healthcare providers more accessible, enabling medical advice and follow-up care. Ninety percent of people surveyed agree that virtual care provides access for those who are unable to visit a doctor in person, and 81 percent agree that the health care system is changing for the better with the inclusion of virtual care.
