Journal of Technology in Behavioral Science: Enhancing Psychiatric Care Delivery: Assessing Telehealth Patient Experience in Psychiatric Intensive and Outpatient Programs in the Context of the COVID-19 Pandemic
According to a survey of psychiatric care patients from four hospitals within a primary health system, most patients described telehealth as a convenient treatment approach and said they received the same quality of care with telehealth as they did with in-person treatment. Patients also said they preferred future telehealth appointments followed by a hybrid approach.
