CMS announced the public availability of the MCBS data on the usual source of care and telemedicine use in Spring 2021. The estimates are based on data from the third MCBS COVID-19 Rapid Response Community Supplement. The MCBS Survey File public use file provides a publicly available MCBS file for researchers interested in the health, health care use, access to and satisfaction with care for Medicare beneficiaries, while providing the very highest degree of protection to the Medicare beneficiaries’ protected health information.
